Welcome to "Mom Loves You to the Moon and Back!”

I'm Ariel Barreiro, the director of MLYMAB, and a '23 graduate of the Natural Sciences Department at Pitt, with a passion for astronomy and journalism. During my time at Pitt, I was honored to be selected as a Zed Factor Fellow ('Zedi') in 2023, which led to an internship at The Planetary Society.

As a member of the Zedi community, I am committed to giving back and inspiring the next generation of aerospace professionals. My project focuses on two key communities: moms and non-STEM majors with a love for STEM.

Through this project, I aim to strengthen these communities, facilitate smoother pathways, and cultivate relationships to sustain our passion amidst the challenges of academic and professional pursuits.
